END OF SEASON 2008 /09 FOR OUR NURSERY

An activity organized by our football Nursery took place on Friday 29^th May at our Sports Complex.  For this event kids who where taking part in our Nursery programs together with their parents were invited for a Barbeque evening.

The activity started at around 6.30p.m. with all kids taking part in fun games organized for them on our Synthetic Football Pitch.  In the meantime, some of the parents helped Mr Michael Formosa our club’s barman and Mr Josef Vella to prepare and cook the meat which turned out to be very good indeed!  Watching the parents involving themselves in the preparations for the end of season activity was a very positive attitude.  These same parents, for the last months, attended and took part actively in regular meetings organized by the Nursery committee.  Such positive signs encourage the committee to continue supporting the kids by giving them the best education.

After the Barbeque, certificates of attendance were awarded to all kids present.  The activity ended by the launching of our Nursery’s first ever Logo designed by Mr Martin Attard on an initiative taken by Mr Josef Vella and Mr Charlie Hili, Head Coach and Coach respectively.    

Mr Carmel Camilleri, the Club’s President, delivered a short message to those present where he thanked the parents for the huge support they are giving the club.  He also noted that the kids’ behaviour was a very good one when compared to other nurseries we met when taking part in many tournaments organized in Malta and Gozo.  He finally thanked the Coaching Staff in charge of this Nursery for their hard commitments during this season.
