GOZO MOTOR SHOW 2009 The Gozo Motor Show, again this year, was organized during the ‘Lejliet Lapsi’ activities being held by the Department of Culture in Victoria. In spite of all the activities which were organized on the 23rd and 24th of May, our activity was one of the biggest events held throughout this weekend. One must not forget that the Gozo Motor Show was totally organized by the Kercem Ajax F.C. The many visitors attending the show on both days could admire some 70 latest car models which were exhibited by almost all Gozitan Car Dealers. These were complemented by food and wine stalls making the atmosphere at the Villa Rundle Gardens a very relaxing one. Many families also enjoyed the programme of events organized purposely on both evenings. Undoubtedly the main attractions of these programmes were the traditional Maltese ‘ghana’, performances by Art Alive and Anette’s Mystic Dancers and the very much expected Song Festival on Sunday.
We must give full credit to our hard working Kercem Ajax Committee members for the preparation and organization of this activity. One must consider the many difficulties and problems that these members face when trying to organize voluntarily an activity of this kind.
